Yard Waste

The City has a Yard Waste Site locate on Plum Street, near the entrance to Plum Creek Park. The site is open spring through fall with limited hours. The site is a place to drop off your brush, clippings and other yard waste. The waste is ground into a mulch-like substance and is available for free to all residents within the city limits. The mulch-like substance is free and is available during the hours of operation below. 

The delivery service is generally available during late spring and early summer. There will be no mulch delivery for the rest of the 2026 season.  You are still welcome to come pick up a load. 

The Yard Waste Site is closed during the winter months. It will remain open until December 19th, 2026, weather permitting.  During winter weather prior to the anticipated winter closing date of December 19th, please call the Service Department at 330-678-8105 to verify that the site is open.

Hours of Operation:
Tuesdays 9:00am - 1:00pm
Wednesdays 5:00pm - 8:00pm (through 10/28/26)
Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm
