WHAT:

Fantastic Foundation is perfect for students who already know the basic rules and are looking to acquire the necessary skills to be successful in tournament play. Students will learn basic tactics, strategy, checkmates, chess notation, and how to use a chess clock. Classmates will engage in open play under tournament conditions.

Fall Session: September 20th - November 22nd (10 Classes)

Winter Session: January 24th - March 14th, no February 14 (7 Classes)

Spring Session: April 11th - May 23rd (7 Classes)

WHAT:

Championship Challenge includes experienced tournament players or those who are competition ready. Sessions will include two USCF rated tournament games with analysis along with interactive lessons. Free one-year USCF membership included for non-members! Participants will be divided into groups by USCF rating or playing strength.
