Thank you for your interest in filming in Kent. Kent is a great mix of historic buildings, modern architecture, and one of Ohio’s largest universities. No matter what scenery you’re looking for Kent experiences all four seasons.

Fees will depend on the type and scope of filming requested. Please see the Kent Film Regulations for fee structure.

Please submit one of the following:

Digitally complete the Kent Film Permit Application and email it to patti.long@kentohio.gov
Or print, complete, and sign the Kent Film Permit Application (PDF) and email to patti.long@kentohio.gov or return to the City Manager’s Office at 319 S. Water St., Kent, OH 44240.

For Kent State Student films, also complete the KSU Faculty Approval form and submit it with your application.
